Sick of Camping/Hunting In a Lame Ass Tent?

Ok I love going out into the wilderness to do some serious shooting, but sleeping in a tent on the dam ground is not my favorite thing in the world, more of a necessary evil for the sought after location. Well let me tell you fellas about this FOLDING CAMP!. It's one of those things that you have to see to believe.
Large View

They call this thing Camp Comfort and what it is is the PLANS for you to build the thing so make sure that you understand that part of it. I just bought the plans and let me tell you they are awesome! I have not started my build just yet but I can't wait to unfold this beast and camp in total comfort.

Basically these are the blue prints to build a folding cabin that is attached to your trailer. You tow the thing to where you are going and then unfold your cabin. It has four solid walls, and a solid floor and roof. The thing is even insulated and you can cool/heat it and make your time in the cabin as comfortable as home. It is so simple yet so effective, and it's a whole shit load cheaper than buying a camper. I always seem to have more fun the first day rather than the second or third because I haven't just crawled of of some shitty tent. With this thing, you can rest up and enjoy everyday equally!

Check it you for yourself!

Send Cigars to the Troops In Iraq!

Ok guys, heres is a great chance to do something for yourself and for the troops at the same time. Buy this 16 cigar sampler of top notch domestic brands and Thompson will send two bonus cigars to the troops in your honor. This is really a win win deal for you cigar lovers.

View Details

I have attended Thompson's Cigar Artisan event for the last two years and let me tell you, they know how to put on a good show. My respect for them as a company has gone up yet another few notches when I saw this deal of theirs, and what they are sending to our guys out of their own pocket. The way I see it, you can't go wrong, I get 16 cigars, which I was going to buy anyway, and the troops get some too for FREE, gotta love it.

Kudos to Thompson Cigar for this deal and keep up the good work guys! I've got my first sampler on the way already. If even just one cigar that is sent over there because of me allows one of our finest even just a moments peace and distracts him or her from the fact that a mortar could land in their lap, then it is well worth it for me.

The AK-47

The AK-47 (short for Russian: Автомат Калашникова образца 1947 года; Kalashnikov model automatic rifle of 1947) is a gas operated assault rifle which was used in most Eastern bloc countries during the Cold War.

Adopted and standardized in 1947, it was designed by Mikhail Kalashnikov and originally produced by Soviet manufacturer Izhevsk Mechanical Works. Compared with most auto-loading rifles of World War II, the AK-47 is compact, of comparative range, moderate power, and capable of selective fire. It was one of the first true assault rifles and, due to its durability and ease of use, remains the most widely used assault rifle. More AK-type rifles have been produced than any other assault rifle type.

The M110 Semi-Automatic Sniper Rifle

The M110 Semi-Automatic Sniper System (or M110 SASS) is a semi-automatic rifle that uses 7.62 mm NATO match grade ammunition. It is intended to replace the M24 Sniper Weapon System and M21 Sniper Weapon System used by snipers, spotters, designated marksmen, or squad advanced marksmen in the United States Army. The U.S. Army ran a competition involving several designs, including ones from Knights Armament Company, Remington, and DPMS Panther Arms. It is interesting to note that all the entries from these companies seemed to use designs based around the AR-10 action. On 28 September 2005, the Knights Armament Co. rifle won the competition and was selected to be the M110 Semi-Automatic Sniper System. In April 2007, U.S. Army soldiers from Task Force Fury in Afghanistan were the first in a combat zone to receive the M110. Video Example1 | Video Example2

Tannerite

Tannerite is a binary explosive used primarily as a target for firearms practice. Tannerite is unique in that it is exceptionally stable when subjected to less severe forces such as a hammer blow or being dropped. It is supplied as two powders which are combined to produce the explosive.

Tannerite is used by shooting clubs to provide explosions for their participants in large-scale weaponry demonstrations or other events. Ordinarily, firing high powered machine guns and other rifles won't produce much more than muzzle blast and some sound upon impact of the round on the target. With reactive targets, these shooting clubs can provide a movie-like experience such as exploding cars.

Tannerite detonations occur at a very high velocity, producing a large explosion and cloud of water vapor. It may be useful for persons who are firing at long ranges; in this scenario, a long-range rifle shooter emplaces targets, retreats to his or her firing position, and fires. The shooter doesn't wish to have to walk down range to see if he has a hit -- the Tannerite will detonate and serve as an indicator.

WHY IS TANNERITE LEGAL? Answer: Manufacturing is a commerce issue governed by the feds. Page 58 CFR 5400.7 General Q&A Section, new edition: #36. When is a Federal manufacturing license required? "A manufacturer's license is needed ONLY by persons engaged in the business of manufacturing explosives materials for SALE, DISTRIBUTION, or for BUSINESS use. For example, persons engaged in the business of providing a blasting service using explosives of their own manufacture would be required to have a license. Persons who manufacture explosives for their personal, NON-commercial use would not need a license."

The above is the law of the land on the use of Tannerite. We feel that it is important to note that in some situations, a person may be in violation and not know it. Such a situation is when a range mixes Tannerite and then charges a fee to shoot it. In this situation, IF the shooter is paying the range owner any kind of reimbursement, renumeration, etc, it is "possible" that the range would be required to be licensed. Thus far, we aren't aware of this being enforced (Using Knob Creek Range as an example, they have been told that they do not need a license to mix Tannerite for the line shooters). All things are subject to change, and we will keep the public informed of any new changes in law. Some states claim that the L&I (labor and Industry dept) or other agencies have authority to regulate Tannerite. This is simply not the case if the shooter is using the targets for personal use.
